Already in elementary school, I was very interested in handicrafts, so when I was deciding which school to go to, I decided to go for my dream. I trained in the field of women's tailoring and I learned classic hand and heavy tailoring. I learned from tailors who still worked for Mrs. Hana Podolská, who was a Czech fashion designer and businesswoman - the most important person in pre-war Czechoslovak fashion.

My husband and I built a company that we ran together for 18 years before my husband died. Our common passion was fabrics and that is why we built one of the largest wholesalers of Italian exclusive fabrics in our country.

On an area of 800 m2 you will find materials of all kinds from non-woven fabrics to silk and expensive cashmere, wedding lace or an inexhaustible amount of interior fabrics.

I love my job, I choose each fabric personally and I am happy to take care of all my clients every day.

I look forward to seeing you at Tessuti Praga.

Yours, Iveta Malá
